Middlemarch Marathon Masterpost

By 3:29 PM ,

Welcome to our unprecedented five-hour marathon reading of George Eliot’s 838 page, 8-part, 1871-1872 masterpiece of realism, Middlemarch.  Book 1, Miss Brooke, is set to be the “finishing line” for the run! Each hour will feature  blog post  “commercials” from our volunteer reading buddies from the Dickens Project with subsequent responses from student teams.

Instructions for Authors:
Start a new post, either your “commercial”  or other Middlemarch Marathon related content. After editing your post, label your post Middlemarch Marathon (for general posts) or MM:01 (and so forth if related to the chapters we are reading for that hour.)  Happy reading and posting!

I like this because it reminds me of a midsummer nights dream. And tells me how parents/guardians should not take a major part in deciding who you shall marry
